Reconnecting With Your Intuition

First things first, we build rapport. Then we explore what makes you feel safe, grounded, and secure. We’ll focus on tuning into your body's signals to deepen your awareness and better navigate emotional and physical responses.

Depending on your presenting concerns, we may work towards short-term relief of symptoms, before beginning processing your story.

Making Sense of Your Story: Together, we’ll explore your memories, emotions, and experiences to help you build a clearer, more meaningful understanding of your journey.

Honoring Your Losses: It’s okay to grieve what was, what could have been, and the needs that went unmet. Acknowledging these losses is an important step toward healing.

Processing Emotions Safely: You don’t have to navigate difficult emotions like anger, sadness, or frustration alone. In a supportive space, we’ll work through them at your pace, allowing you to move forward with greater clarity and peace.

In the next phase, we will integrate this work into your life by:

Strengthening Your Support System: We’ll identify the relationships that uplift and validate you, helping you cultivate a network of support that truly understands your experiences.

Finding Growth After Trauma: While trauma can leave lasting marks, it can also open doors to personal strength, resilience, and new perspectives. Together, we’ll explore how you can turn past challenges into opportunities for growth and empowerment.

Owning Your Story: You have the power to shape how your experiences define you. We’ll work on helping you find meaning in your journey and decide how you want to share your story in a way that feels authentic and empowering.

But how? I use evidence-based practices, * research-backed interventions that have been studied, duplicated, and validated* such as:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): Addressing and reframing negative thought patterns and beliefs.

  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT): Developing skills for emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness.

  • Mindfulness Practices: Cultivating present-moment awareness and acceptance to reduce stress and enhance well-being.

  • Narrative Therapy: Empowering you to rewrite and own your story, emphasizing strengths and resilience.

  • Part Work/Internal Family Systems (IFS) Informed: Understanding and healing different parts of yourself by fostering self-compassion, balance, and inner harmony.

Boundaries, Healing, and Detachment

You don’t have to carry what isn’t yours. Many people I work with have learned to survive by tuning into others’ emotions—reading a room better than anyone. But true healing means unhooking from that, detaching with love, and learning what is yours to hold and what you can release. It’s about choosing peace over control, compassion over perfectionism, and relationships built on mutual respect rather than self-sacrifice.

Healing isn’t linear. There will be moments when you slip into old patterns. That’s normal. The parts of you that people-please or seek perfection or rage or control once helped you survive. Now, you have the strength to create a new way forward.

A Therapy Journey That Evolves With You

Maybe you’ve been in therapy before, but you’re ready for a fresh start. I deeply respect the therapy community, and I also know that sometimes a new perspective is what’s needed.

When it’s time to transition out of therapy with me, we’ll have a final session to reflect on your progress and prepare you for what’s next. The goal isn’t just to heal—it’s to step into a life where you trust yourself fully, feel at home in your body, and build relationships that nurture and support you.
